In this post, we would like to feature several video demonstrations for creating roses with alcohol ink. There are a number of ways to accomplish roses in Alcohol Ink and every artist seems to have a different approach! The third featured Alcohol Ink Rose video is a time-lapse by Sharen AK Harris. Sharen is one of our contributors and has a fully narrated version of this video in the Society. This video is a time-lapse of her technique and is so informative to watch. Here style is truly unique and her looseness with the inks is beyond caparison!
Painting Wispy Abstract ALCOHOL INK Roses
The final featured video today on Roses in Alcohol Ink is from Myriam’s Nature (YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-Yr-p69aSD4vRn9mwpE4ug). In this video, Myriam uses a heat gun and a technique of moving around the substrate as the ink dries. This is a wonderful, fully narrated demonstration.
