“I want my art to be something you feel, you experience, you desire. I get lost in the moment when I paint. When I create something new and original it is a beautiful feeling. My greatest hope is that you experience this as well”. – Andrea
Andrea Patton started drawing when she was 8 years old. She began painting murals in her children’s rooms and then was commissioned to do many murals in Texas starting in 1995. She later started exploring watercolors and alcohol inks and took art lessons in Alaska and Texas. She has traveled all over the US, Canada, Ireland and Italy to find inspiration for her art. The beauty of Alaska inspired her beyond her wildest dreams and she is now a “snowbird”.
Her artwork has been auctioned at United Way Events and the Anchorage Go Red for Women for heart disease and stroke among many other worthy causes. She gives private art lessons in her studio in Texas and travels to give group lessons.Andrea’s art is owned by collectors all over the world. Her art is featured in several galleries in Alaska and Texas. In 2018 she won Artist of the Year for her Nuthatch painting “Into the Storm”.
